The App does not transmit your personal data to third-party generative AI providers (such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, or Anthropic Claude).

Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process your personal data on these legal bases:

5. Cookie Policy
Our website (https://yieldscopetechnologies.com) may use cookies and similar technologies:
Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for the website to function (e.g., session management, security). These cannot be disabled.
Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it. Where required by law, these are set only with your consent.
The mobile App does not use browser cookies but uses functionally similar technologies (device identifiers and local storage) for authentication, analytics, and crash reporting as described in Section 2.2.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings and, where a consent banner is presented, through that banner. Disabling non-essential cookies will not prevent use of the website's core content.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:
Account data (name, email, profile photo, portfolio data): Retained while your account is active. Deleted or anonymized within 30 days of verified account deletion, except where longer retention is required by law.
Analytics data: Retained in identifiable form for up to 14 months, after which it is aggregated or deleted (consistent with Firebase default retention settings).
Crash reports: Retained for up to 90 days for diagnostic purposes.
Support communications: Retained for up to 24 months after resolution of your inquiry.
Legal/compliance records: Retained as required by applicable law (e.g., tax, accounting, or dispute-related records).
Backup copies may persist for a limited additional period before being overwritten in the ordinary course of our backup cycle.
7. Payments and Subscriptions
YieldScope offers free features and premium features available via subscription.
We do not process payments directly. All subscriptions are billed exclusively through in-app purchases processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive or store your payment card or bank details. We receive only transaction confirmations and subscription status from Apple/Google.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation: You must cancel through your app store account, not through YieldScope:
iOS: Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions → YieldScope → Cancel.
Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions → YieldScope → Cancel.
Cancelling stops future renewals; you retain premium access until the end of the paid period. Refunds are governed by Apple's and Google's refund policies. Uninstalling the App does not cancel your subscription.
8. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data, including:
Encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and encryption at rest for stored data;
Authentication and access controls limiting internal access to personal data on a need-to-know basis;
Use of reputable infrastructure providers (Supabase, Firebase/Google Cloud) with industry-standard security certifications;
Secure authentication options, including Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In;
Monitoring, logging, and crash/error reporting to detect anomalies.
No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Services at your own risk. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and applicable regulators as required by law.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 (or the applicable higher minimum age). If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact support@yieldscopetechnologies.com.

12. Financial Disclaimer
YieldScope is an informational tool only. Market data and signals may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions and should consult a licensed financial advisor before making them.
